Replaces dual-contact 3157 bulbs. Comparing to incandescent bulbs, LED light bulbs are 5 times more efficient, vibration proof, last up to 10 times longer, respond faster, can be used with clear lenses, and get more attention. Great light dispersion with 18 LED’s pointing straight and 6 LED’s around the perimeter.
Normally when converting turn signals from stock halogen bulbs to LEDs load equalizers must be added to avoid hyper flash. This is due to LEDs drawing so much less power that the flashers do not register any load, therefore showing a fast flash warning the driver that a bulb is out. Run/brake lights do not require load equalizers. Although CyronMotor does not offer LE products, in our opinion a non-resistive LE is the best solution. It will not generate heat and will not waste much power.
More vehicle makers are changing their ECM to be compatible with LED lights. For example, below is a list of Harleys that do not require LE when converting to LEDs.
